I designed these as a custom gift for my son’s Kindergarten teacher at the end of the school year. The heart is made of red polymer clay that is stamped with a snake skin pattern and then highlighted with gold accents. After curing the clay it was sealed and protected with resin. The back side is made of hand cut copper with a patina and protective coating. The necklace is finished off with a handmade clasp and wire wrapping dangling from a copper chain.
The earrings are hand cut and polished copper sheet with a patina for an aged look. Small hearts sealed in resin reside under a protective fold of decorative copper sheet metal. Handmade earwires.
