These earrings made of polymer clay were pressed into a mold and then Swarovski crystals and an orange Cubic Zirconia were carefully added to the clay before curing. When hardened and cooled completely, the artist hand painted deeper salmons, reds and golds on the surface and then sealed it. At the bottom a little clay ammolite dangles with a Swarovski crystal center. The ammonite was molded from a real ammolite from the artists personal collection. The nature of polymer clay produces a very lightweight earring with substantial design elements. The earwires were handmade from solid copper wire.
