These earrings were created by molding polymer clay, curing and then hand painting it. Before curing, Swarovski crystals in blazing yellow and red Fire Opal were added. I hand hammered, distressed and sealed copper sheet and drilled and attached it with handmade copper rings to the polymer earring for added durability and contrasting textural design.
To finish off the piece I created unique and twisting earwires out of non-tarnish copper and added aged copper wire and another Swarovski bicone to sway and catch the light as you move.
The measurements begin at the highest point on the earwire and end at the bottom of the longest chain.
