Hand textured fluted trumpet flowers in rich shades of juicy bramble berries and shimmering champagne are hand textured, painted and sealed. Each little dangle that peaks out from below is hand wrapped on copper stamens. Live out loud striped pyrene shells are surrounded by frosted translucent Czech glass in matching shades and Tourmaline semi-precious gemstone nuggets. The earwire is handmade from hypo-allergenic Titanium.
All measurements are from the highest point of the ear wire to the bottom of the earring.
These earrings were hard to part with. They are the exact pair that I made for Lori Anderson’s Bead Soup 2013 challenge. This was a huge opening into a new world of meeting wonderful women like myself that make all kinds of creations to share with the world. Such a birthing experience and food for the soul! To read about my wonderful experience with that you can read my blog starting here. And how the bead soup swap led me to turn beads into these earrings here.
Tourmaline increases flexibility, happiness, objectivity, compassion and serenity. It also enhances tolerance and understanding. It is a stone that is very helpful for channeling. Tourmaline is also a very protecting stone. It is called the Poet’s Stone. Tourmaline is often associated with the heart chakra, particularly watermelon tourmaline, where it opens one to accept love. Other colors of tourmaline are associated with the chakra of the same color.
